Engagement

Existing software and systems training

We train your staff inside the company's current accounting system. The training covers posting, billing, and the close.

What the staff learn

The staff learn how to post entries, how to import billing, and how to complete the first close. They learn by performing the work, not by attending a lecture about it.

Which system

The training uses QuickBooks, Oracle, or whichever ledger the company intends to keep.

What a session includes

A session is spent inside the ledger. Staff post a transaction, import a billing file, and complete the steps of the first close. The instructor works from the same screen the staff will use after the engagement.

Questions are answered against the company's own chart of accounts and the company's own open items. The staff leave the session having completed those steps, rather than having only heard them described.

Questions

Do you train people on software the company has not adopted?
No. We train people on the company's current accounting system, or on the replacement the company has already selected.
Is the training a presentation?
No. Your staff post transactions, import billing, and walk through the close inside that system.
How does an engagement start?
Training begins in the ledger the company intends to keep, with that ledger's chart of accounts and open items.
How long does it last?
Training continues through the first close the staff complete in that system. The agreement states the end date.
How does this fit the accounting system the company already has?
Staff post, import billing, and complete the close inside QuickBooks, Oracle, or the ledger the company has selected. A different system is not installed for the training.
