AI integration into existing environments
We place artificial intelligence inside the company's current accounting environment. This is artificial intelligence for accounting work already underway, including invoice coding. The software reads invoices and bank lines, and it proposes the account coding. The company's ledger remains the system of record.
What remains in place
QuickBooks, Oracle, or another ledger remains the system of record. The artificial intelligence works with that system, and we do not install anything on company computers.
What happens to a document
The software proposes an account. When an open bill or invoice exists, the software matches the line to that item. When a document lacks support, we hold the document and we do not create a journal entry. A CSV file can carry the coded entry into the company's accounting system.
The person responsible for the books can see the proposed account, the match, and the reason a document was held. The ledger remains the system of record. The artificial intelligence does not post an entry the document cannot support.
